Mediation
Adam Itzkowitz is a licensed attorney in the State of Florida and holds admissions to the Middle District of Florida and the Southern District of Florida. He possesses certification as a Florida Certified Circuit-Civil Mediator and Arbitrator.
Adam’s mediation practice consists of civil litigation cases throughout the State of Florida, including personal injury and wrongful death, product liability, insurance coverage, property damage, commercial, construction defect, business litigation, contract disputes, employment, global settlement conferences, animal owner liability, real estate disputes, homeowners’ association, and nursing home cases.
Adam’s experience is built on his years as a practicing litigator, both prosecuting and defending individuals and businesses in civil cases from pre-suit through trial, and includes attendance and negotiation at countless mediations.
Adam actively serves the following Florida counties: Brevard, Charlotte, Citrus, Clay, Collier, DeSoto, Duval, Glades, Hardee, Hendry, Hernando, Highlands, Hillsborough, Indian River, Lake, Lee, Leon, Manatee, Marion, Miami-Dade, Orange, Osceola, Palm Beach, Pasco, Pinellas, Polk, Sarasota, Seminole, St. John’s, Sumter and Volusia.

AVAILABILITY
Adam offers fast and easy scheduling for his clients, which is accomplished in three different ways:
1.Schedule Online: Use the below online scheduling calendar to schedule your mediation. Simply click on the preferred date, fill out the form, and click “submit.” Once your request is received, we will contact you to confirm your scheduled mediation.
2.Telephone: Call 813-461-6600 to schedule your mediation appointment. We will call you back by the end of the day to arrange the date, time, and location for your upcoming mediation.
3.Email: You can email us at [email protected] to schedule your mediation.
RATES:
2 parties: $200 per hour/per party
3 parties: $175 per hour/per party
4 parties: $150per hour/per party
5 or more parties: Flat Rate available upon request
3 hour minimum for ½ day mediation and 6 hour minimum for full day mediation.
$200.00 per hour/per party for round-trip travel of more than 120 miles from Tampa.
MEDIATION POLICIES:
- RESPONSIBILITY OF ATTORNEYS- Each party’s attorney, if any, shall be responsible for the timely delivery of each party’s fees.
- TRAVEL EXPENSES- Significant travel expenses (e.g., air travel, rental car, meals, and lodging, when engagement requires) will be discussed, and prepayment arrangements will be made with the parties at least 2 weeks prior to the commencement of the first day of the mediation conference.
- PREPARATION TIME (if applicable)- The review of the Pre-Mediation Summary and other documents beyond 30 minutes per party will be billed to that party at the rate of $200.00 per hour. If the total review time does not exceed 30 minutes, no fee is charged.
- CANCELLATION POLICY- There is no charge for cancellation, except for scheduled mediation conferences for which significant travel expenses have been incurred by the mediator. In such circumstances, notice of cancellation or postponement of a scheduled mediation conference must be received at least 2 full business days (excluding intervening weekends or federal holidays) prior to the scheduled commencement of the mediation conference. Absent such timely notification, the parties will be billed their pro-rata shares of the cancellation/postponement fee.
- Mediations and Arbitrations are considered booked and scheduled when a Confirmation Letter is e-mailed.
